He has appeared on TV and radio from Australia to Brazil, Germany, the US and the UK, including: the BBC, the ABC and MSNBC.
He runs boutique innovation and trend forecasting firm, The Future Is Here. Clients range from KPMG to Design Hotels, ABTA, HSBC, Facebook, Yell and Eventbrite.
James holds an MA in Classics from the University of Oxford; an MA in Journalism from the University of the Arts London; and a PgD in Entrepreneurship from the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School.
James has spoken at Google HQ in California, the Collision Conference in Las Vegas, the London School of Economics, the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of the Arts, and 10 Downing Street. He has hosted Guardian Masterclasses, and run courses at the Schools of Life in London, Antwerp and Istanbul. He is an ambassador for the charity Global Action Plan.
James has lived in France, Greece and California. He currently lives in London with his wife and two children.
